My year 2012

I had a busy 2012. I turned 50, got married and had a grand baby.. What an amazing and exciting time in my life.. Let me tell you a little about my year. I went on a mission trip in the Dominican Republic volunteered at an orphanage and saw first hand the hardships many have to face daily.. This trip helped me realize just how blessed I am. This trip also was the beginning of a new adventure for me because this is when I decided to get married .. In October my daughter had my first grand baby( a beautiful little girl ). I realized then why they call them grandchildren. She has brought so much joy to our lives.. She is a blessing that I am so very thankful for.. She definitely has me wrapped around her little pinky... I will try to blog more but this sums up my life in 2012. Thanks everyone that crossed my path in 2012.

New Year.....New Adventure

Don't think I picked a good day to start stand up paddle boarding (SUP) . Temp was 47 and winds were around 20 mph ( 18 knots). Wetsuits are great , but I need some cold water gloves....that is what ran me out the water today.
SUP is great conditioning.... Balance, core and upper body!! Guess I'll get my gloves and head back out tomorrow: )

Coast to Coast

I'm currently on a motorcycle road trip to Tampa bay. Going to meet a friend from the cruise to ride horses and maybe play some tennis. It's nice to be able to ride in the winter !

Kiteboarding Adventures

I finally got up on the board today! I hope with one more lesson I'll be boarding back and forth across the intercostal. Not ready to catch any air yet. Haha. I'll try to get more pics of my kiteboarding up later.

Back from Bahamas !

Great new friends, too much food and beautiful weather equals awesome trip!
Paid for my trip playing 3 card poker on second night : ). Sorry , I'm not missing the 19 degree temps in Kentucky.
